THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 4, 2025 – Clinic will be closed.

The I.H.S. programs of the clinic will be closed on September 4, 2025 for an I.H.S. Yakama Service Unit…Employee Appreciation Day.

We are generally closed on Thursday mornings for administrative requirements.

We will be closed in the afternoon as well for employee appreciation, recognition, and activities. We will be open normal clinic hours on Friday, September 5, 2025. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we recognize our wonderful Yakama Service Unit Staff members during our Annual Employee Appreciation Day!

EARLY CLOSURE – CLINIC (Friday, August 29, 2025)
The Yakama Service Unit (the clinic) will be closing 2 hours early today in honor of the Labor Day holiday.

The following are the clinic operational times for today (Friday):

• Yakama Nation programs will be essentially closed at 12:00pm today.
• Medical will see walk-in patients until 2:00pm today.
• Dental will see (4) walk-in patients in the afternoon.
• Laboratory will be open until 2:00pm for testing.
• Pharmacy will be open until 4:30pm to dispense medications.

• The clinic will be closed on Monday for the federal holiday, Labor Day.

Important Notice

The eye clinic will be closed Monday, 8/25. The optometrist will be out for the remainder of the week so services will be limited from Tuesday 8/26 to Friday 8/29. Operations will return to normal on Tuesday, 9/2 following the Labor Day holiday.

For any urgent needs, please check in with the medical department or seek care at your local emergency department.

Important Reminder that our dental clinic will be closed Monday and Thursday next week.

Yakama Indian Health Dental will be closed August 25 and 26, 2025 for installation of new dental chairs. If the install goes as planned, Dental will see walk-in patients on Wednesday August 27.

UPDATE: Phones and internet are functioning but with some limited service. All functions should be back to normal operation soon.

Upcoming Holiday Closure: Independence Day (UPDATED 7/3/2025)

Thursday, July 3, 2025 – holiday early closure

The Yakama Service Unit (the clinic) will be closed to patients on Thursday, July 3, 2025 for the Fourth of July holiday. Exception: Pharmacy will be open 12:00 – 2:00pm for medications.

Pharmacy services will be available as provided below:
• Pharmacy: Wednesday…Patients can access the Pharmacy until 6:30pm, Wednesday July 2nd…(this evening)
• Pharmacy: Thursday…Patients can access the Pharmacy from (noon) 12:00pm until 3:00pm, Thursday July 3rd.

Friday, July 4, 2025 – closed.
The clinic will be closed for the federal holiday, Fourth of July.

Monday, July 7, 2025 – open.
The clinic will resume normal operating hours on Monday, July 7, 2025.

NOTE: Should there be any change to clinic days and hours this week, we will update this notice.

The Yakama Service Unit, I.H.S. clinic will be closing early on Friday, May 23, 2025 in honor of the upcoming Memorial Day holiday.

Friday, May 23, 2025: The following will be the clinic hours of service (early closure):

• Medical: will receive walk-in patients up to 1:15pm tomorrow, or as capacity allows.

• Dental: will close at 1:15pm and will see up to (2) walk-in patients in the afternoon, depending on capacity.

• Pharmacy: will close at 3:30pm

• Optometry: will see walk-ins to 1:30pm.

• Yakama Nation programs: closed at 12:00pm (noon).

- Nutrition will be closed for the day.

Monday, May 26, 2025: The I.H.S. clinic will be closed for the Memorial Day holiday.
