🔥Let's chat about broken bones🔥
I have been accused of many things, one of my fav things, as of late, has been "what kind of hocus pocus are you doing".
My kiddo is a travel hockey player and away at a tournament while on the ice, he was checked into the boards, totally clean and totally allowed, and broke his wrist, Friday of Halloween.
He was treated in VT by an amazing orthopedic surgeon, and she set the bone back in place. The break was on the growth plate, and there were concerns he would need surgery for pins/ plates. He was set and cast with the plan to follow up with orthopedic in Maine.
I immediately started pumping him with homeopathic arnica, we were 4 hours away from home, and I didn't have all the things, so that was a great 1st start. I gave him ibuprofen on Saturday because he was in pain. I also gave him valerian root to help keep him relaxed and ease the pain. We stayed in VT Saturday and Sunday bc he wanted to have all his friends sign his cast, and he was cast and pain-free
When we got home Sunday evening, I started the "hocus pocus "with homeopathic comfrey, homeopathic arnica, a tincture of Solomon seal, nettles, horsetail dandelion root, 2 droppers , 3x /day every day.
He had another xray that week, and when I knew for sure the bone was set where it needed to be and didn't become displaced since it had been set, I started him with boneset tincture.
We did this for 3.5 weeks. He had another x-ray and the bone had continued to stay in place and was" healing perfectly". He was allowed to have the hard cast come off and a move to a soft cast. He was discharged from orthopedic bc "she cannot believe how well and fast the break healed, and it it no longer broken, and her services arent needed anymore" She gave him a timeline of 3 more weeks until full contact hockey again.
Since he has a removable cast I have been able to work a little more magic and get to his bare arm and apply, religiously, my comfrey salve, we do this a few times a day, as well the tinctures.
He wrist is healing exactly how it should be,and he will be back on the ice with a strong wrist in no time, all because of a little hocus pocus🌿
