We're thrilled to congratulate Capt. Kathy Hartline on her well-deserved retirement!
With an incredible career spanning over 3 decades, Kathy has been a true leader in prehospital emergency care, serving our community since 1989. She started as a volunteer EMT with Toronto Emergency Medical Service, Inc. and quickly rose through the ranks, holding various leadership roles, including Vice President.
While balancing family life, raising two daughters, and pursuing higher education at Jefferson Technical College, Kathy earned her Advanced and Paramedic certifications, always putting the needs of others first.
Her professional journey took her to Tri-County EMS in East Liverpool, and in 2002, she became the first full-time Captain of the newly formed TEMS Joint Ambulance District, serving the citizens and visitors of northeastern Jefferson County with pride, dedication, and commitment.
Thank you, Capt. Hartline, for your tireless service to the City of Toronto, Villages of Empire & Stratton, Townships of Knox, Island Creek, and Saline.
You will be deeply missed!
