Sullivan Senior Center-This Page No Longer In Use

Good morning! In a weird fluke of technology, Facebook had locked us out of this page for a little over a year, and now that we've started a new page (sullivanseniorcenter.fyi/newfacebook) we were notified by them that this page is due to be deleted for some reason. We've done everything we can to try and merge the two pages, however nothing seems to work and there's no way to reach a human to fix this for us, so we're moving full steam ahead with our new page!

“The Sullivan Senior Center and the Services for the Elderly Commission are very excited to be included in this event that will merge THS students, Senior Center Members, Community involvement and the walking Trail along the river at the senior center. The Sullivan Senor Center has suspended all non-essential activities.

Exceptions to the suspension:
- Assisted Transportation Services
- Chore Services
- Meals on Wheels
- The Congregate Lunch Program will be offering take-out meals only with curbside pickup.

Should you need to see staff please call to schedule an appointment. Walking in is not an option at this time. We will do our best to help you over the phone and/or email. If we must schedule an "in person" appointment for you rest assured we are following the "Appointment Scheduling Procedure" as established by the City of Torrington to keep you and our staff safe.

Note on our Newsletter: When it was printed, all these wonderful activities were in place. We now know that we will be heading into April, unable to hold these activities. Most will be rescheduled to a later date. The Antiques Appraisal, Craft & Tag Sale, however, has been cancelled.

It saddens us to have to cancel our Antiques Appraisal, Tag Sale and Craft Fair Fundraiser scheduled for April 18th. We do not have plans to reschedule this event at this time. Thank you for your enthusiasm and excitement over wanting to attend again this year. We wish you good health and please stay safe in the days ahead!

Litchfield Distillery has stopped all production of their alcohol to produce liquid disinfecting spray and have been donating it all to local businesses, programs and individuals.

We were able to be there on Friday where they gave us containers of free liquid disinfecting spray to be used on our MOW Trucks, Transportation Vans and at the Senior Center!!

Thank you so much Litchfield Distillery for your incredibly act of kindness in this very difficult time.
