Our youngest (and quite possibly our cutest) patient yet! We love helping little ones feel their best at Salik Spine & Wellness.

Chiropractic care is essential for every stage of life. We provide care for the whole family, even early as few weeks old. Chiropractic adjustment looks totally different on an adult vs a growing body.  We apply very gentle techniques, using the pads of our fingers or instrument adjustments to care for our little ones.

The typical keyboard is tilted up, which may contribute to carpal tunnel syndrome. However, a recent study found that a downward-tilted keyboard might be more ergonomically friendly. ⌨️

If you are dealing with numbness and tingling in the thumb, index, and middle finger, changing your keyboard is a good idea! 🙌

How many steps should kids take per day? 🚶
A recent research article found that children taking more than 9,000 daily steps had improved physical and psychological well-being.

This correlates with the physical activity guidelines, which recommend 60 minutes of moderate-to-vigorous physical activity daily for children between the ages of 6 and 17.

Try going for a family walk, playing tag, or hide and seek to incorporate some movement!
