We had a great weekend helping our community that we love so much. On Saturday, Jared and Spencer spent the evening having a “groovy time” at Halloween on the Midway with Trunk or Treat. TPIO once again went above and beyond for the community. On Sunday evening we were glad to help donate glow stick, rings, and water for the for the first WV Viking Education Foundation Glow Fun Run. Thank you to the Foundation committee, especially Molly Barner, for making it such a success. We are so lucky to live in a community with such great organizations and people.

Today is National Clergy Appreciation Day. We have been blessed with so many wonderful clergy in our valley. Every year we spotlight and hornor one of our finest. This year we honor the late Rev. Kenneth Campbell who passed away in August after a very brief illness. Ken was pastor at Salem Lutheran Church in Elizabethville. He was the true definition of a pastor, and is missed by so many. His bookmark picture hangs above my desk to remind me of all the advice he gave me throughout the years and how fragile life can be. Your legacy will live on forever.
