Glenridge, a member of the Organization of Residential Homes, is an independent retirement community We are located in suburban St. Louis, Missouri.

Glenridge is a community of Christian Scientists within a full-service retirement community. Louis, just minutes away from First Church of Christ, Scientist, Town and Country, and the Principia School in St. Operating since 1987, Glenridge maintains a supportive atmosphere where members may continue to practice Christian Science. Application to Glenridge requires active Mother Church membership. A spouse need not be a Christian Scientist. support, and amenities that make day-to-day activities easy and fun. We even have a
Christian Science study room on site! Garden Villas is a St. Louis retirement community operated by Delmar Gardens Enterprises. They offer three apartment styles: studio, one bedroom, and two bedrooms, with bathrooms off each bedroom, ample closets, and a balcony or patio. There is also a designated storage locker for each apartment. Amenities include: fully staffed dining room offering three meals a day, mail boxes with regular service, 24 hour staffing, inviting lounge areas, weekly maid service, flat linen service, beauty and barber salon, library, heated outdoor swimming pool, golf putting green, myriad activities and special events, transportation to shopping and banking and scheduled outings, and transportation to church Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. Ellen was a Trustee at Longyear Museum for many years and Jared served on the museum staff. Jared is now a Journal listed Christian Science Practitioner. Ellen and Jared will share insights into the life of Mary Baker Eddy which they and others gained during restoration work at the eight (8) Mary Baker Eddy houses that Longyear owns. Tours of the historic homes are open to the public.

Dear Friends,

The Glenridge Annual Meeting, that was planned to be held on Saturday, March 28, 2020 is being rescheduled for a later date. (We expect to reschedule on a date in September.)

Our speaker, Jared Eggers will be speaking on "Maintaining the Healing Practice: The Work of Metaphysics".

In the Christian Science Hymnal, Hymn 9, Violet Hay writes in the first verse, "All glory be to God most high, and on the earth be peace,.. The angels sang, in days of yore, The song that ne'er shall cease. . .Till all the world knows peace." and in the last verse, "O wake and hear the angel-song that bids all discord cease, . . From pain and sorrow, doubt and fear, It brings us sweet release; . . And so our hearts find peace."

The Glenridge Board of Directors, and residents look forward to welcoming you and your friends to the annual meeting. We will send you information as soon as we have selected a date.

Advance reservations are now being accepted for the “Celebration of Music – Love and Healing” to be held at the at First Church of Christ, Scientist Creve Coeur 10939 Ladue Rd, St. Louis, MO 63141 on Sunday, September 9, 2018 between the hours of 2:00 and 3:30 p.m.

Suggested Donation is $20.00 per person. All donations to Glenridge are tax deductible. Glenridge is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization. Additional donations are appreciated.
