We welcome Kelsey Breding to our team of LENS providers!

A little bit about our newest provider:
Kelsey grew up in Powers Lake, North Dakota where she graduated from high school. She attended college at MSCTC Moorhead and graduated in 2006 with her LPN in nursing. She then continued her education at University of Mary and received her bachelor’s degree in nursing as an RN in 2010. Kelsey has been working as a nurse for 18 years. She currently works at Tioga Medical Center in the clinic.
Kelsey is certified in basic life support, Pediatric Advanced life support, and Advanced cardiac life support. Kelsey’s first job as a nurse was at the pediatric clinic at Trinity Medical Center. She has worked in the long-term care, hospital, clinic, ER, surgery, and patient education throughout her years at Tioga Medical Center, she brings an abundance of knowledge to the human brain and body, healing and wellness.
Kelsey became a LENS technician in 2025. She is excited to help others reach their full potential and live a better life through a non invasive, non medicated form of therapy treatment for all brain and body needs.
Kelsey lives in Powers Lake with her husband and their four children.

A comfy little splint I handcrafted this morning. This patient came to me with 3rd digit trigger finger that was fixed with therapy after just a few weeks. I noticed she also had central slip in her 4th digit to which the splint was fabricated for. This patient preferred the handmade splint to a boughten one, due to comfort. 

Splinting helps keep the PIP joint in a specific position (usually full extension) to allow the injured tendon to heal properly.
*With a central slip, the crucial tendon that extends the middle finger joint (PIP joint), is injured or torn, splinting is often recommended to prevent further damage and the development of a boutonniere deformity.
Boutonniere Deformity: occurs when the PIP joint flexes (bends) while the DIP joint hyperextends (extends too far). Splinting the PIP joint in extension helps to prevent this.
