Our mission:
Here at Angie's House Of Hope & Recovery, we offer you to live in a substance free home, with like-minded peers, while allowing you to navigate the responsibilities of life in the real world. We provide a safe and secure environment for you to contemplate, meditate, and heal your body and mind. Consider us a bridge between the inpatient facility and real life. Our beautiful outdoor environment will help you breathe fresh air and learn to appreciate nature. Our reasons why:
Angie's House of Hope & Recovery was built with one purpose in mind and that was to help young women be free of addiction and get their life back. Angelica was MY reason why. My daughter Angelica was lost in addiction for 7 years. As a mother of an addict, all I wanted was for her to be free. It was on her time, not mine, as she always reminds me. That's a difficult thing for a parent to hear. Two years ago I embarked on this journey to build a home where young women would want to come and share their recovery process with us. We have put a lot of effort and dedication into creating our home, a powerful and magnificent facility, using Angelica's insight of what she encountered with her previous rehabs and sober living facilities. The clutches of addiction are powerful, however our minds and thoughts are even more powerful, and to be free of this is what most addicts strive for. Why we offer pet cuddles/therapy:
Our mini cuddle barn will help you focus on something other than your addiction. Our animal's relaxing qualities can help find solace and provide comfort and distractions from triggers in your outside environment. Pets are soothing, just their presence causes the body to produce more endorphins and other positive neurotransmitters. Therapy animals can help stimulate the receptors in your brain naturally and safely. A support animal can also lower our blood pressure and can improve our moods. They can help build your self esteem and communication skills. We are here to provide a sober support system to lean on and encourage the skills needed to live a happy and healthy life. We encourage our residents to develop healthy coping skills for when they return home. We are here to keep you safe. We are here to help you build a sober lifestyle. After 30 days, you are free to work or attend school while also being held accountable for your own recovery. Following rules is a vital life skill; one may desire to live on their own soon after treatment, but they may not be bale to handle complete independence at first, which is why this is the perfect place for you or your loved one. We offer a balance of living in the real world, while offering some structure and monitoring. Gradually adjusting to every day life sober, we offer a wide variety of life experiences in a controlled environment. We offer a wide variety of activities and courses, such as a cooking, yoga, and art.
