Intrinsic would like to introduce our "Queen's of the South" Apiary and all that it has inspired. Beekeeper. Victoria Smith (Bee Lady), started her journey down this brave but beautiful path a few years ago when she met her "Bee Teacher" Mr. James Yeomans. Mr. Jim had been tending to bees practically his whole life and was so very happy to share all his worldly and old school knowledge with anyone who had an interest. Victoria sure did take an interest and has carried on that torch in his honor. We have at present, 3 Italian Hives and have gotten 3 healthy harvests from them. Victoria recently purchased 5 Russian bees hives and saved a hive of golden Cordovan bees. They are soooo busy, busy, busy. So it should be interesting to see what delightfulness will come from those bees. When she isn't busy with all these bees, you can find her out and about rescuing random swarms all over the place. Wild hives, a swarm from the back of tractor trailers, anywhere a hive or swarm can be rescued she will surely give it her all to save them. I am personally allergic so I enjoy all the back end stuff such as spinning the honey, jarring the honey and all the not so dangerous stuff.We have 3 different sizes of jars of honey in our shop and products that have our very own honey in them. We are delighted to share our experience with everyone and answer any questions to the best of our ability. Hope you enjoy a little trip down memory lane as we are so excited to share it with you all. ( We will be adding more pics and some videos as well at a later date)
