Sometimes the best therapy plans get thrown out the window for a game that evolves collaboratively. Here my client was picking a little object with a target sound off a block of “ice”, placing it on the *very* artistic mat with pictures containing target sounds to create a novel phrase with at least two target sounds. Then the “ice” got to go into the game, which we played when the ice was all inserted. 36 “ice cubes” x 2 target sounds per cube = 72 targets practiced in phrases in a very short time!
