Hi!
Good news-Gerry’s treatment is complete and the cancer is “undetectable”. It was a rough ride over the winter but here we are. So grateful for the amazing team and strong support of dear family and friends. This is our second rodeo with prostate cancer and we are ready to get back to doing other things now, right?

Bakery news? Time away from our weekly bake schedule gave us a chance to think about how we want to move forward. Most importantly, we want to keep baking and continue being a part of this wonderful community of bread. We will be stepping away from markets, pizza pop-ups and Saturday Table this summer to build a commercial baking space in our backyard. Going back to how we started Heart in Hand years ago with plans for more room, a dedicated bread oven (yay!) but keeping our production at the house. We will still be offering our sweet treats .centurysnowballs and will have updates on our progress/plans over the summer.

Life is short, uncertain and, in this current environment, extremely challenging to navigate. Gerry and I know one thing: bread and building community is something we both love. Deeply. Looking forward to getting our hands back in the dough and seeing our bread family again soon.
