Equilibrium Mental Health

Equilibrium Mental Health EMH aspires to strengthen the emotional and behavioral wellbeing of clients, while collaborating with them on their journey toward a life worth living.

Equilibrium Mental Health is an out-of-network private practice committed to the delivery of research-based mental health treatment to children, adolescents, and families. Equilibrium Mental Health (EMH) celebrates the tradition of scientifically driven psychotherapy services through direct assessment/treatment, clinical supervision, and training opportunities. Currently, all services are provided

through a HIPAA-compliant, telebehavioral health delivery format. EMH provides an array of evidence-based treatments to address different conditions of childhood including depression, anxiety, trauma, and other problem behaviors. Mental health services are child-focused, while EMH clinicians also value positive teamwork with parents to achieve the best treatment outcomes. We are also a trauma-informed provider, recognizing the impact that life’s most grueling and stressful situations have on an individual’s daily functioning. The treatment team at EMH is dedicated to clinical excellence and the delivery of high-quality mental health services. All of EMH’s clinicians are nationally certified in the gold standard of treatment for childhood posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD): Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Other treatment options are available, and clients can benefit from a range of individual, family, group, and multi-family group treatment.
