Position Overview
Firefly Counseling Collective is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical (LCSW-C) to join our growing practice as an Independent Contractor. This role is ideal for therapists looking for the flexibility of private practice while benefiting from the support and structure of a collaborative team. The ideal candidate is dedicated to providing client-centered, evidence-based care and is eager to contribute to a warm, inclusive, and professional environment.
Responsibilities
Provide individual, couples, and/or family therapy services to clients with diverse backgrounds and mental health needs.
Conduct initial assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement appropriate therapeutic interventions.
Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
Collaborate with other therapists and professionals as needed to support client care.
Participate in occasional team meetings and case consultations to foster professional growth and collaboration.
Uphold ethical and confidentiality standards as outlined by state licensing boards and Firefly Counseling Collective policies.
Qualifications
Active LCSW-C licensure in the state of MD.
Minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience preferred.
Experience working with individuals, couples, and/or families dealing with anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and related challenges.
Strong clinical skills in evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, ACT, trauma-informed care, or other modalities.
Ability to work independently while also valuing collaboration within a team environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
