“If you can’t fly, then run.
If you can’t run, then walk.
If you can’t walk, then crawl.
But whatever you do, you have to keep moving forward.” — Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

At One Source Wellness, this quote serves as a reminder that progress does not require perfection or speed, it requires persistence. Healing is not linear, and growth does not always look bold or visible. Some seasons demand strength, while others simply require survival and both are acts of courage.

On the days when the weight feels heavy, when motivation is low, or when life feels overwhelming, remember that movement in any form is still progress. Rest when needed. Pause without guilt. Adjust your pace without shame. But never underestimate the power of continuing forward, even in the smallest ways.

Dr. King’s words teach us that resilience is built not in the absence of hardship, but in our commitment to move through it, one step, one breath, one moment at a time. Today, we honor his legacy by choosing hope, practicing compassion, and supporting one another on the journey toward wellness.

Keep going. Your progress matters

It’s an honor to stand beside fellow agents of positive change in Baltimore City such as Senator Cory McCray, Mayor Brandon Scott, City Council President Zeke Cohen, & others. The converging of like minds & deep passion for serving our communities during the fundraiser for Senator McCray’s reelection was powerful. Together We Work for Positive Change at One Source Wellness Works. We prioritize community collaborations with shared vision & shared values. May this new year & the impact of the work that we do ensure the incredible promise of a resilient, well-served, & loved Baltimore City.

You Are Seen. You Are Loved. You Matter.

To our OSWW family — you are never just a face in the crowd. You are loved, you are cherished, and you hold worth beyond measure. Even in your darkest moments, there is light, there is hope, and there is someone who cares deeply for you, including us.

If you ever feel like you’re carrying a weight too heavy, reach out. We are here to listen, to support, and to walk with you. It may not feel like it now, but healing is possible, and your story isn’t over. You belong here. You are needed. You are valued.

Let’s continue to build a community of compassion, openness, and strength — together, we can be a lifeline to each other.

The advice I’d give to somebody that’s silently struggling is, you don’t have to live that way. You don’t have to struggle in silence. You can be un-silent.” — Demi Lovato 💜

At One Source Wellness Works, we believe in breaking the silence around mental health. Speaking up is a sign of strength, not weakness. You are not alone, and your voice matters. 💪🌱

Partnership Spotlight:

We’re honored to highlight our partnership with HOPE Outreach, founded by Kevin and Sheena Dockins. Since 2021, HOPE Outreach has been serving Baltimore City and surrounding areas through culturally competent outreach, referrals, and connections to treatment programs, housing resources, and supportive services.

Their mission is powerful: to empower individuals and families by providing compassionate, accessible referrals to mental health, psychiatric rehabilitation, and substance abuse treatment services—fostering resilience and promoting recovery.

Together, One Source Wellness Works and HOPE Outreach are building pathways from crisis to care. Through our collaboration, families are being connected to the resources and support they need to heal, recover, and thrive.

We’re proud to stand alongside HOPE Outreach in this work and look forward to continuing to uplift our communities, one family at a time.

Did you know? You can also partner with One Source Wellness Works! If your organization is committed to empowering families and strengthening communities, we’d love to connect.

Mental health matters at every age — from childhood to adulthood.

Often, the earliest signs of struggle show up in small changes: shifts in mood, behavior, sleep, or daily routines. These signs can be easy to miss, but recognizing them early can open the door to healing and support.

At One Source Wellness Works, we walk alongside families and individuals, offering guidance, tools, and evidence-based care to strengthen both children and adults.

Healing begins with noticing. Support begins with reaching out. You are not alone.
