Toy Drive 2018! Prologue's Homeless Outreach Program is collecting holiday gifts for children who were recently homeless. Last year, we were able to provide holiday gifts for approximately 50 children thanks to generous donations.

We are collecting collecting new, unwrapped toys, gift cards, and new clothing for girls and boys of all ages. Donations can be dropped off at HOP’s main office located at 3 Milford Mill Rd., Pikesville, MD 21208, Monday-Thursday from 9am to 4pm. Arrangements can also be made to pick the items up from your location in the Baltimore area by calling 410-653-6190 and asking to speak with the HOP staff on coverage that day.

It would be greatly appreciated if all gifts can be handed in by December 14th to ensure the gifts are distributed to the families in time for the holiday season.

Please include your name and address on the donations so that HOP is able to send you a thank you note for your tax records. We appreciate any help you may be able to provide to the homeless families of Baltimore County.

Thank you to the St. John's church members! Quilts and other items are available on a first come, first serve basis during our normal business hours.

Thank you to the members of St. John's Grace United Church of Christ in Catonsville. They donated numerous winter items including 46 "ugly quilts" to be distributed to people experiencing homelessness. The quilts roll up, are tied with neckties and serve as a sleeping bag to someone sleeping on the streets. The sewing group meets 2 times a month and it takes about 3 hours to make each quilt. They collect ties and other donations to make the quilts from the community and parishioners... one of the group members even holds a bin to collect to ties that parishioners are wearing to the mass that day! Each quilt takes 4 ties to make.

We're collecting school supplies for the children we work with. Please see below for details.

Calling all supporters! Prologue's Homeless Outreach Program is collecting school supplies for the children we work with. Last year, we were able to provide school supplies to 40 school-aged children and one young person who was going off to college. This year, we are hoping to help even more children and their parents start the school year off right.

Please help us by donating backpacks, 3 ring binders, composition books, loose leaf, dividers, pencil cases, sharpeners, tissues, hand sanitizer, anti-bacterial wipes, crayons, colored pencils, pens, #2 pencils, scissors, glue sticks, rulers, and other school supplies.

Arrangements can be made for Prologue employees to pick up donations in the Baltimore County area. Donations can also be dropped off at 3 Milford Mill Rd, Pikesville, MD 21208 (hours in Pikesville are Monday-Thursday 9am-4pm, and every other Friday from 9am-4pm) OR 609 Baltimore Ave., Towson, MD 21204 (hours in Towson are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8:00am-3pm). Please label the donation bags with “HOP” and your contact information so we may provide you with a thank you note which can be used for your taxes. If you have questions, please call 410-653-6190 and speak to the HOP coverage person.
