General information

The Presbyterian Home of Maryland (PHM) first opened its doors on Calvert Street in 1883 in downtown Baltimore. In 1929 the Presbyterian Home moved to the current location in Southland Hills of Towson. Since 1929 the Home has undergone numerous renovations and today the Presbyterian Home of Maryland is licensed by the State of Maryland, Department Health & Mental Hygiene, for a total of 100 beds—78 Assisted Living and 22 Comprehensive. The most recent renovation in 2006 improved the Health Care Center, dining rooms and main gathering areas of the Home.
