The Baltimore County Department of Health is working to implement a Language Access Plan (LAP) to help break down language barriers and make services more accessible for all.

March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, a cancer that sees a 3% increase in diagnosis among adults aged 20-49 each year.

Throughout the month we hope to raise awareness and honor the thousands of people who are impacted by colorectal cancer every year.

One week from today the Baltimore County Department of Health will have FREE HIV testing at Drumcastle Government Center for National Women and Girls HIS/AIDS Awareness Day.

Did you know? Globally, women and girls account for 53% of people who live with HIV. With awareness days and testing events such as this one we hope to minimize that number.
