Some of the most life-changing diseases - diabetes, heart & cardiovascular illnesses, and certain cancers - can be controlled and/or healed by making different food choices. Many people ask their minister or someone they know to pray for them when in times of sickness. While we don't want to neglect praying for the sick, we must admit that the best answer to resolving or managing most of health problems is in what we eat, what we drink, and how much we move our bodies. Eat Right - Pray Right, a Health & Nutrition Outreach, launched virtually in early 2014. It operates as community enrichment outreach of Kingdom Overcomers (formerly Philadelphia Ministries & Training Center in Modesto, CA). We have many plans for the expansion our services to ‘live’ outreach as resources come available. Note: We do believe in cooperating with qualified medical professionals - not doing so blindly, but in educating yourself about treatment plans and alternatives.

As we approach the time of year when many of us fast, if you're planning to follow the common fasting protocol of "no meats, no sweets" please don't forget your proteins.

Protein (complete with amino acids) is important especially if you:
➡️ Are over 40
➡️ Are peri-menopausal or menopausal
➡️ Are diabetic / pre-diabetic
➡️ Have an autoimmune condition
➡️ Have replacement body parts (like hips and knees)
➡️ Have had weight loss surgery
