🚨Saline county is under a burn ban🚨

🚨 BURN BAN IN EFFECT FOR SALINE COUNTY 🚨

Effective immediately, Saline County Judge Matt Brumley has issued a countywide burn ban due to hazardous fire conditions.

Over the past week, Saline County has been closely monitoring conditions alongside our Office of Emergency Management and state partners. Dry conditions and elevated fire risk have created dangerous circumstances that strain local resources and increase the potential for wildfire spread.

🛑 No outdoor burning is allowed.
📞 Report any burning activity IMMEDIATELY.

Earlier this week, the Saline County Office of Emergency Management issued a notice urging residents to avoid burning due to these unsafe conditions.

The status of the burn ban will be monitored daily, with updates provided as conditions improve.
