My sister texted me the other day to see if I had any openings for a foot detox for my niece, who specifically asked to come back 🥹 She told her mom: “I felt so much better afterwards!” 🥲

This is one of the things I truly love about our foot detox — how gentle and safe it is for all ages, yet so effective that even my 9-year-old niece can tell the difference 🫶🏼

NEW SERVICE:: THERAPEUTIC TMJ RELEASE 🥳 Kobi has always been passionate about working with clients who suffer from TMJ pain, as she has personally experienced it. ❤️‍🩹 She just recently got certified in intraoral release of the jaw and mouth, which is life-changing for chronic headaches, neck pain, and shoulder tension. 🙌🏼 We’re so excited to start offering this as a stand-alone treatment, as well as Kobi integrating it into her regular massage therapy sessions. As a stand-alone service, this will be a 45-minute session focused on the face, jaw (intraorally), neck and shoulders… only the good stuff 🫶🏼

Do you remember the first time we were nominated Top 5 for Best Massage of the Upstate - twice?! Well, hearing over the phone the news that I was approved to become a continuing education provider was reminiscent of that day. 🫶🏼 I’m thrilled to start offering an Advanced Cupping Therapy 12 CEU course for other therapists, who are looking to up-level their massage therapy sessions. Cupping is my all-time favorite modality and has absolutely transformed my practice. 🙌🏼 Our first class will be held in our lovely office space next month on May 23rd from 9-5pm and May 24th from 9-3pm with an hour break for lunch both days. The only pre-requisite required is to hold a license in massage therapy. A maximum of 5 students will be accepted to keep our class intimate and May 10th is the final day to register. Did you know without magnesium your body can’t recover from stress? It is one of my absolute favorite rescue remedies - for mental, emotional AND physical well-being - which is why I recommend our magnesium bath salts to all of our clients to take home after their massage. After my first magnesium bath, I ditched Epsom salts and never looked back. When you feel the difference, you will too 🫶🏼

It’s been a while since an official introduction, hasn’t it? 🫣 Hey, it’s Kelly! 👋🏼 By next month I can say I’ve been a licensed massage therapist for 7 years and Hands That Hear has existed for 6 🫶🏼 WOW. Serving this community has been one of my greatest blessings. ❤️

I’ll never forget giving my sister a scalp massage when I was (probably?!) 13 and hearing her tell me I should be a “masseuse” (it’s massage therapist, by the way) and asking her what that was. All I knew from an early age is I wanted to help people feel better. 🙏🏼

That’s why it was so hard when I took a step back from massage therapy the end of last year due to some health issues I’m still struggling with today. While I’m still seeing clients for our wellness therapies, I’m no longer massaging. ❤️‍🩹 The silver lining has been hearing all the positive testimonials from Haley’s, Kobi’s and Madison’s clients on a weekly basis 🙌🏼

Some of you have been here since the very beginning - long before there was a sign, a website, or a hot towel warmer versus a crockpot 😆 - and then there are those of you that have just come to see us, and, either way, I am SO thankful for each of you. ❤️

Reintroducing another familiar face to y’all - our therapist, Haley! 🌸

Haley has been passionate about health and wellness from an early age, but it wasn’t until she had her daughter that she truly began to see the benefits of bodywork. Her daughter was born with oral ties and had great success with Craniosacral Therapy (CST). This came at a time when Haley had begun searching for a new purpose in life, and she chose to go back to school for massage therapy, as well as CST for adults and children. 👧🏻🧒🏽

She is also certified in Lymphatic Drainage, so she’s able to offer integrative massage that may include craniosacral or lymphatic drainage techniques, or as stand-alone services, depending on the client’s needs. ✨

When she’s not massaging, she’s spending time with her four-year old daughter and slurping raw oysters (iykyk). 🤪🦪

Haley’s currently booked out until April, so she’s not taking new clients for massage therapy, BUT she is seeing new clients for Craniosacral Therapy, kids or adults! ☀️
