[sunday recap]
Life's journey is full of battles, races, and moments where quitting feels easier than continuing but we are reminded that even though we are in the middle of the race, we are empowered by God to finish, because what He has started in you; He has given you the strength to complete.
We all are in the process of progress.
We're under construction now but at some point, in time we will come to completion. It may seem like the finish line is a long way to go but remember you will finish! We may be under construction but we're not doing the building, God is. 🚧
Do not despise the construction because Jesus is in control. If we were in control, there wouldn't be any struggle or any hard times, but it's because of the struggle that we're going to be what God intended us to be.
Struggle may not feel good, but it is because He who is doing the work is good.❤️🩹
💚If He started a work in you, He's going to finish it💚
When Jesus cried " It is finished", He wasn't just ending His suffering He was beginning our story.
We are not finishing in our own strength, God finishes what He starts, and He's not done yet. God is still working.
Delays does not mean God stopped, but it means that it's work in progress.
5 keys to being empowered to finish
📌God doesn't abandon projects He perfects them.
💚No matter what we do God will never leave us. If he starts healing, He will complete it.
📌Our setbacks don't stop God's work
💚God does not cancel our purpose because of a rough chapter
📌Our role is cooperation not control
💚God performs it, our job is to trust, surrender, and stay available. We are not the builder we are the building
📌God works in us before He works through us
💚We may feel unfinished right now, but God is doing the foundational work
📌The finishing touch will come in His timing
💚God is not rushing the process, so do not confuse stillness with silence
