Important info here! ⬇️

While bodywork is important throughout the year, I know that it becomes more top-of-mind for lots of us as we gear up for summer.

I know it’s only late March, but if you’d like your horse incorporated into the bodywork schedule this Spring/Summer, please let me know ASAP! (Winter Regulars, I’ve already noted you 🙃)

I will always try to accommodate “as needed” requests but cannot promise that I’ll be able to work them into the schedule if they aren’t in the normal monthly rotation.

Committing to a monthly bodywork for the Spring/Summer IS a commitment, but it’s becoming the norm for lots of equine services. Not only does it allow the professional to stay more sane 😜 but it allows us to be proactive with your animal before pain/injury instead of basically trying to put out fires.

Happy Spring! 🌸❄️

I know I’ve been quiet — it’s been a busy winter working on my “regulars” and, honestly, I have enjoyed spending less time doing social media stuff. 🙃

Now that Spring has Sprung(ish) and the forecast is looking a litttle warmer, I’m ready to fulfill requests for Private Owner’s Massage Classes!

Classes will be ~3-4 hours long. Intended for 1-4 people (ask if your barn friends want to join in!), these courses will basically be a one-on-one version of the larger clinic held in 2024, and will include both educational “classroom” discussions about anatomy, bodywork, etc. as well as basic hands-on massage practice.

This is a different format than a formal clinic - I will travel to you and your barn, so prices will vary based on location.

IntInterested in booking? Dates are limited, so message me ASAP!

Please consider donating to our fellow horse people. So heartbreaking.

Heyyy! LET’S TALK FALL/EARLY WINTER SCHEDULING! 🤓

Does your horse CONTINUE to need bodywork after show season? YES!! What about if they get a couple months off as their kid transitions back into the school year? YES, they may need bodywork JUST as much, for different reasons, if there is a change in their workload.

Nevertheless, session requests DO end up slowing in the Fall, so I am adjusting my availability accordingly. SO, if you know that you’ll want to get onto my regular schedule (lots of folks plan for regular monthly sessions), please reach out now so I can reserve a regular monthly slot for you. ☺️

I will continue to try, of course, to accommodate one-time visits, but space will be limited so sessions may need to be scheduled out further than you’d like unless you are on my regular rotation. 🫶🏼

Heyyoooo!! Did you know that you have to buy any Bemer Equine product from a local distributor? Andddd hi, your local TC distributor 🙋🏻‍♀️

I know, it makes it sound gimmicky (which honestly is why I don’t advertise this part), but I swear these products are NOT a gimmick! The FDA vouches for Bemer products too but obviously it’s my opinion that holds the most weight, right? 😉🤣

Anywho, posting this once and then prob never again, but if you’re interested in investing in ANY Bemer product (you don’t have to buy a whole blanket to be able to Bemer your horse!), let me know and I can help 🤓

⚠️ If you generally only schedule single sessions, here’s your chance to get your equine worked on without having to worry about the minimum # of horses! Looking to add one more horse/stop!

I get asked about these a lot!! Great summary here 👇🏼

I get asked about these a lot!! Great summary here 👇🏼

YOU ASKED ABOUT:
MASSAGE GUNS

I have a love/hate relationship with this tool and let me explain why…

#1 they are only as effective as the person using them which means in the wrong hands used the wrong way they can be very counterproductive and in some cases harmful.

#2 they should ONLY be used over larger muscles, NOT over bony areas and NOT over leg tendons/ligaments or anywhere near the horses head.

#3 they do NOT replace professional bodywork or hands but can be a very valuable tool to complement both.

I have owners that are directly instructed how to properly use a massage gun in an area in between professional sessions when appropriate.

I have students and fellow therapist friends that have physical restrictions that make a deeper more percussion stroke manually hard for them-and they use a massage gun to help.

I bought a really nice gun on Amazon a few years back and it’s still working today.
It comes with multiple different heads that are a firm foam and very easy to disinfect.
I typically use the largest roundest head and the flattest one-I stay away from pointy ones because I have other tools that are easier to control with a point.

So-in short, massage guns can be great but I encourage you to ask a professional how to best use one if you’re an owner.
If you’re a professional, know when to use them in place of your hands.

I’m always happy to help guide you either way.

I’d love to make occasional Friday sharing posts so feel free to comment about anything you’d like to know more about as an owner or a professional and I’ll do my best to cover it!!

Completely aware that if I get pulled over this summer, I will immediately get breathalyzed. 🤣
