Client Spotlight: David!

David has been training with me for months with a focus on improving his endurance, strength, core activation, and balance. Through his consistency and dedication, he has not only put in the hard work but has also achieved huge progress in every single one of his goals.

What makes David’s story extra special is that he was one of my very first clients at Gateway Fitness. His commitment and progress were a huge part of what inspired me to expand my coaching beyond Pilates and also step into a gym setting.

It’s been inspiring to watch his journey — pushing a little further, getting stronger, and moving with more confidence. David is a true example of what’s possible when you commit to your health and wellness.

Sometimes the simplest steps are the most powerful ones—literally!

Adding more walking or light jogging into your week can:
✅ Boost your energy
✅ Strengthen your heart and muscles
✅ Lift your mood and reduce stress

You don’t need to run miles to see results—start with a 10–15 minute walk or a few easy jog intervals. Small, consistent efforts add up to big changes over time.

Last winter, Dan set out with one goal: to complete his first-ever Olympic distance triathlon at the Chicago Triathlon.

Through months of dedication — balancing family, career, and long weekend training sessions — he didn’t just achieve that goal… he overachieved it. On race day, Dan crossed the finish line in under 3 hours!

Wellness Wednesday with Bayshore Wellness

Your health isn’t just about the hours you spend exercising — it’s about the small choices you make each day.
This week’s focus: movement snacks

Instead of thinking you need one long workout, try adding short bursts of movement throughout your day:
✅ 5 minutes of stretching at your desk
✅ A brisk walk after lunch
✅ A few squats or calf raises while cooking dinner
✅ Deep breathing to reset your posture and energy

These little habits add up, improving circulation, energy, strength, and mobility — and they’re easier to stay consistent with than waiting for the “perfect” workout window.

Jessica came to Bayshore Wellness wanting to add strength training to her routine, improve her posture, and offset long hours at a desk.

“I was already doing HIIT and eating clean for years, but I was still weak and stuck at the same fitness level.”

After training together, the change has been dramatic:

“I haven’t felt this light, lean, and ‘springy’ in decades. I’m much stronger, my posture is better, I also lost 5% of my body weight and went down a clothing size.”

Shoutout to my client Will, who’s been crushing it over the past year! When we first started working together, Will was already a dedicated runner with big goals—but he wanted to become a more well-rounded athlete, improve his stride efficiency, build strength, and stay injury-free.

Through consistent hard work and focused training, Will has made incredible progress. His posture, strength, and overall athleticism have taken a huge step forward, and it’s been amazing to see the difference in his running form and power.
