8th Street Bridge closed for the week!

REMINDER - E. Eighth Street Bridge Closure: A previously planned closure of the E. Eighth Street Bridge to all traffic will take place December 7th - 10th for the installation of architectural fascia panels and the removal of construction barges from the Boardman River.

The site will be an active construction zone and all vehicular and pedestrian detours should be followed. Entering work sites demands caution and concern for the safety of the workers and to not interfere with their activities so the remaining work can be completed efficiently.

Thank you for your patience as the City finalizes infrastructure improvement items on the E. Eighth Street Bridge.

Bridge #3! The E. Eighth Street Bridge OPEN! The City is pleased to announce that the E. Eighth Street Bridge is open to vehicular, pedestrian and bicycle traffic. Although paint markings have not been installed, the cycle track along E. Eighth Street continues on the sidewalk over the bridge.

Future work on E. Eighth Street and the Cass Bridges will need to be completed and will result in periodic closures.

For the health of our patients, staff and our community, Bay Family Vision Care will be closed to the public beginning Wednesday, March 18th until further notice.
We will continue to offer the following services:
-Emergency Eye Care
-Shipping of glasses and contact lenses
To reach us, please call the office at 231-947-1691 and leave a message, we will return calls regularly. For ocular emergencies, please follow the instructions on our office voicemail.
