Copper Ridge Surgery Center (CRSC) is celebrating National ASC Month, recognizing the key role ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) play in delivering safe, affordable, and high-quality care! ASCs offer a convenient alternative to hospitals, especially as outpatient demand grows. CRSC CEO Tina Piotrowski highlights their strong outcomes, patient satisfaction, and lower costs. With over 80% of surgeries now done outpatient, ASCs have saved Medicare $1.5 billion and show fewer post-op hospital admissions.

It's World Day for Safety and Health at Work!

Our Safety Committee is made up of members from every department at CRSC, with the safety of our staff and patients at the center of all we do.

We recently celebrated Patient Safety Awareness Week and the theme this year is "Together, We are Moving the Needle," meaning that at CRSC we strive to not only bring awareness to important safety issues, but are proactively seeking ways to increase safety for our patients, staff, and visitors every day.

It's 'Every Kid Healthy' Week!

Our pediatric patients are special to us, and we are always looking for ways to improve their care. Our Pediatric Focus Group recently launched a project to enhance every child's experience with us through education, videos, updates to our pediatric rooms, and other great tools. We are proud to announce it that it was presented at the recent AORN conference and was considered a "people's favorite." We are even more proud to provide children and their families with a safe and comforting experience while in our care.

If your child has, or may have, a procedure scheduled with us, check out the videos and resources on our website to help you through the process!

We encourage parents to discuss the procedure and the Surgery Center with their child beforehand to alleviate unnecessary stress. To help you in doing so, we’ve provided a short educational video.
