Dr. Hunter completed her undergraduate studies at Michigan State University and continued her medical education at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency at Metro Health Hospital (now University of Michigan Health-West).
With experience in both acute care and outpatient medicine, Dr. Hunter has developed a well-rounded approach to treating a diverse range of medical conditions. Her special interests include preventative medicine, lifestyle interventions, chronic disease management, and musculoskeletal injuries, allowing her to offer patients a comprehensive perspective on health and wellness. She is passionate about patient education, empowering individuals to take an active role in their health management.
Outside of her medical practice, Dr. Hunter enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, and exploring Northern Michigan with her family. Dr. Hunter welcomes adult patients to Thirlby Clinic and is dedicated to improving the lives of those under her care.
