Why Northern Lights Chiropractic?
Dr. Ramona Pleva has been a longtime proponent of health and wellness. It started back in her college days where she earned a BA in Health Fitness and Promotion from Central Michigan University. This eventually led her to a career as a massage therapist. Craving more ways to help people live healthier lifestyles, Dr. Ramona attended Life University College of Chiropractic in Marietta, GA.
Dr. Ramona Pleva believes that when our brain and body are functioning well, we are rewarded with great health. In this day in age, our daily lives are filled with various stressors and it takes a lot of energy to navigate through those stressors. When in a stressed out “survival mode” many of us develop poor posture, poor eating habits and we find our energy is just zapped! Our ability to thrive depends on how well we adapt to stress. Research shows that chiropractic care breaks the pain and stress cycle. This allows our brain and body to adapt to stress in a constructive way.
Knowing that some people prefer to not have the “cracking” from a traditional adjustment, Dr. Ramona uses an adjusting instrument called an Arthrostim that allows for gentle, safe and effective chiropractic care. Her adjusting style allows for greater versatility and individualized care.
To further enhance her adjustments, Dr. Ramona incorporates doTERRA essential oils in her practice. Essential oils can help balance the brain, have a calming effect and can help the brain and body process pain. It’s a great way to super charge chiropractic adjustments.
