Yoga Vidya North Iyengar yoga in Traverse City, MI I wasn't born flexible &
I certainly could never stand on my head. I then knew what asana {posture} practice would teach me.

Coreene received her certification in the Iyengar tradition in 2014 and she continues regular study under the guidance of Senior teachers Mary Reilly {North Woods Yoga} and Sue Salaniuk {The Yoga Space}

When she's not on her mat, Coreene is the owner and photographer of Tavla Studio in Traverse City, MI

I was never the athlete. But in my first Iyengar yoga class with Mary Reilly, she spoke about Tadasana {mountain pose} & it's relation to the practice of non-judgment. I wasn't here to be skinny or to get flexible. I was here to teach my body, this vessel which houses my spirit, to be a tool to connect deeper into my own soul. Shanti, Sneha, AUM ~ Coreene
