I have a firm belief that everyone has the capability of changing negative behaviors. Sometimes individuals just need an extra boost to make that change. Life is sometimes hard on us. When we can't see the light at the end of the tunnel, there are people who will listen to you, empathize with you, and guide you to a better version of yourself. Reaching out for help is one of the hardest steps in therapy. Once you have done this, magical things can happen. You are the key to your own success and happiness. I am a Traverse City native, born and raised in this great community. I earned a Bachelors in Health and Human Development from Montana State University. I then moved back to Michigan and got a Masters in Counselor Education and Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University. Working with the younger population has been a passion of mine for a long time, and I truly believe anyone at any age can change! Have Insurance? I now provide for: Aetna/Cofinity, Meridian, Magellan, and Priority Health.

Summer is coming (believe it or not). I am happy to announce that I have room to take new clients this month! No long wait lists. Teens, students, adults and couples! I take most major insurances: Priority, BCBS, BCN, McLaren and Aetna. I offer in person AND Telehealth sessions. Now is the time! :)
