Meet Russ & Leslie Knopp, passionate advocates for seniors and community champions who have been changing lives across Northern Michigan for two decades.

As owners of Comfort Keepers Northern Lower Michigan, Russ and Leslie have grown their Traverse City-based franchise since 2005 to a team of over 220 employees, providing compassionate in-home care to hundreds of seniors each year throughout the northwestern Michigan region.

But their impact doesn’t stop there. 🙌
Russ and Leslie are deeply committed to supporting both seniors and caregivers, actively serving with organizations like Bay Area Senior Advocates, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Impact 100, and the Alzheimer’s Association (where Russ has served as Michigan Chairperson for 6 years!)

Our owner, Russ, had a wonderful time at the GTB Health Fair in Peshawbestown today! He enjoyed connecting with community members, sharing stories, and being part of the kickoff to the annual Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians Pow Wow. Events like this remind us how special it is to be part of such a caring and vibrant community.
