Back arching and sagging in planks and tabletop core work IS NOT CORE WORK!

We cannot keep proper stabilization and core connection if we shift our pelvis front and back or let it sag. Sorry to burst your bubble. But don’t waste your time!

Instead- try prepping your core work here⬇️

✅Start with breathing into your belly, ribs & back

✅Enagage pelvic floor (slight lift)

✅Enage your Transverse Abdominals (deepest core muscles)

✅Exhale first and continue to exhale through your movement

✅There is no shame in trying a modified version of your exercise!

Go slow, be patient, stay consistent and know when you need a little extra guidance to rock out your core work…be sure to snag your spot for the Abs, Core, Pelvic Floor two part series (link in bio!)

Things I’d say to you if I wasn’t worried about hurting your feelings ⚡️Core & Pelvic Floor Edition ⚡️— Part 2

1️⃣ Bounce-back culture is absolute bulls**t.
Your body didn’t “fail.” It adapted, carried life, and changed.
Training like you’re supposed to erase that chapter is a fast track to pain, leaks, and frustration.
Your body is different now.
Train like it. No drama. No shame.

2️⃣Crunches are not core work.
I said what I said.
If your “core routine” is just crunches and planks and you’ve never learned how to connect your breath, deep core, and pelvic floor… you’re missing the point AND the results.

3️⃣You don’t get an award for struggling more.
Not for doing it all alone.
Not for pushing through pain.
Not for putting everyone else first while your body quietly falls apart.
Support isn’t weakness. It’s strategy.

4️⃣You might not be “weak”… you might be too tight.
Pain during in*******se?
Trouble pooping?
Constant tension you can’t relax?
That’s often pelvic floor tension, not laziness, aging, or “just how it is.”
Squeezing harder won’t fix that.

5️⃣You can’t change where you’re going—or how you feel—unless you change what you DO.
Not what you intend.
Not what you scroll.
Not what you used to do in your 20s.

Different body. Different season. Different approach.

And honestly?
Making it easier, smarter, and more supportive is allowed.
Highly encouraged, actually.
