“What is your preferred tea steeping device?” This is mine.

Would anyone like us to offer these on our website? It’s something I’ve considered so folks can get their tea and steeper all in one place. Let me know what you think!

My beautiful friend, White Pine 🌲
This photo was taken on our last sunny day before the ice, snow and wind that put the trees here through a serious stress test this past week.

I am grateful to have a couple handfuls of very dear friends, and this White Pine is one of them.
She lost several big branches in the storm, torn off in ways that look painful. She weeps from these wounds, as only White Pines do.

Ultimately she and I know that even tough losses like these will make us stronger and allow light to shine in new places for fresh growth.

And the gifts of her needles will be honored as they go into salves and teas to heal our wounds 💚

🤎CHAGA CREAM
Shea butter base, freshly infused Chaga Mushroom, frankincense, vitamin E, carrot seed oil, turmeric…this is skin’s pure protection and deep hydration at its best.

This is the one product I simply don’t want to live without. Game changer for skin care, especially for this farmer girl enduring the dry winter months and sunny days spent outside.

How about some Hawaiian vibes during these Michigan March blizzard shelter in place days? 🤙 This tea is a nod to my time spent in Kauai as a teenager and young adult. Featuring some tropical island faves like ginger, orange peel and hibiscus, paired with Michigan grown Passionflower, Spearmint and Tulsi, this combo is all the right things to put your nervous system at ease and bring some warmth to these cold spring days. Some of our customers have said this is our best flavor blend yet!

Celebrating a 2025 win ✨ It’s the little things.

Last year was the first year *ever* that I managed to keep my hanging porch flowers alive for the entire season. I know, you’re probably thinking…”…but you are a plant person! How hard is it?”

Well, I may be a plant person, because I absolutely love them. But I am also a mom, business owner, community engager, market manager, folk school founder, teacher, and if you haven’t guessed it…a person with an appetite for big ideas that outpaces my capacity at times. Also, a person with ADHD tendencies.

So, remembering to water these porch friends daily, or do ANYTHING daily…is a struggle.

How did I do it? Not with discipline, a daily phone reminder or slowing down my life.
I did it by asking for help. Mostly calling my husband or son after heading out the driveway, remembering the need as I drove by the house, and asking them kindly *once again* to give the porch plants some water.

So I clelebrate this as a win, and a reminder heading into 2026. I am likely not ever going to remember all the things, become a super organized person or stop being a big dreamer with the guts to jump all in….but I am getting better at asking for help. And that is no small thing!

Huge gratitude for all the many, many hands and hearts that have helped these big dreams become reality. 🙏

True Story…. When I first met my husband he told me he didn’t drink tea. He said he wasn’t culinarily adventurous, didn’t like hot beverages, and milk was his drink of choice. It was (almost) a deal breaker for me 😳

I didn’t push tea on him, but continued to gently offer a variety of hot and cold options from time to time. My saying is “if you don’t like tea, you just haven’t had the right one”. There are as many tea options as there are people to drink them. I was determined to find “his cup of tea”.

Fast forward to last night, I put on some hot water and asked if he’d like a cup of tea before bed. He enthusiastically replied yes and excitedly began to choose his mug for the occasion. He asked what I was having (Wild Bear Ease) and reached for his tea of choice- Bluegrass 🫐

While he has come to enjoy a handful of other blends, Bluegrass was his gateway. Fruit forward, approachably complex, simply delicious and antioxidant rich…this blend has the power to convert even the most hesitant of tea explorers.

Now available on our website as a seasonal blend in limited quantity! 🫖
