Dear Rescue Partners,
We are urgently seeking rescue commitment for Tinky ( #47565), a 2-year-old, neutered male cat weighing 8.3 lbs, who is in urgent need of a leg amputation.

We are able to perform the amputation, but only if a rescue commitment is secured.
The clinic describes Tinky as "sweet and shy". He’s a quiet soul who desperately needs a second chance at life.
Deadline for Rescue Commitment:
Sunday, July 20th at 4:00 PM

🥺 LONGEST RESIDENT ALERT 🥺

We’re only 4 days away from Christmas and although the animals here at the shelter have us staff to call their family & home for the time being we just cannot help but feel sad for Wade. He is currently our longest cat resident out of EVERYONE in the cat room. He has spent a total of 162 days here. All of his younger kitten days were spent here. Every meal, every cuddle, every laser toy moment, & every treat time spent HERE. With absolutely nothing wrong with him, we often question why is he so over looked. He is only a little over 5 months old, already neutered & UTD on his shots…..

✅He loves to nudge your leg with his head
✅He loves treat time
✅He is addicted to any type of feather toy that moves
✅He is super clean in his cage
✅Liter box professional
✅Awesome roommate for other cats or kittens
✅Gentle
✅Soft
✅Genuine orange cat
✅Smart

The list could go on & on about this sweet guy. We just hope someone out there has a cozy home for him just in time to spend his Christmas with a REAL family. Please consider adopting Wade into your home, even if you aren’t able to adopt right now you can help him out by simply sharing this post.

ABANDONED KITTEN LOSES BACK LEGS
THIS PRECIOUS BABY KITTEN was found in a family's yard in another county last week. His back legs were chewed off and the small stumps that were left were infested with maggots. How pitiful!
A foster took him in, giving him tender care. We were unsure if the kitten would survive, but he has! The maggots are gone and his open wounds continue to be treated with medicines, including antibiotics.
He is using the potty just fine and eats up a storm. He should live a long, happy life, with accommodations.
If you would like to help, he needs paper litter like "Yesterday's News," Purina Kitten Chow and Fancy Feast canned pate food.
You can order items on Walmart.com and have them sent to the Walmart at Prestonsburg, KY, 41653 Pickup person is Polly.
