Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms! I know this day can bring up many feelings, which is ok! It can be overwhelming at times. Being a mom can be hard, but I am so grateful for my boys and feel so blessed to be their mom! I hope you all can find some joy today and remember that you are loved ❤️

Placentas are amazing!!

𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚! ❤️

It connects the baby to the uterus to receive nutrients, acting as a delivery system for oxygen and the necessary vitamins and minerals to the baby, without letting the parent's blood come into contact with the baby's blood. It can weigh around 1- 2 lbs.!

Some people want to keep their placenta after birth and have it prepared for consumption as a way to potentially stave off some of the less enjoyable after-effects of birth. Others want to plant it with a tree to commemorate the birth or make placenta art!

Babies and children are always changing, and sometimes that means they need different things at different stages.
Child development was ones of my all time favorite college courses. I loved learning about how the brain changes from In utero, to newborn, through childhood and beyond. it’s still so fascinating to me, I love sharing developmental milestones with my families

Happy 4th of July! This time of year is so special to our family. Two of my boys have birthdays, so that keeps us very busy. And of course lots of family time, friends, local fun and celebrating our independence 🇺🇸 I hope you all have a wonderful and safe fourth!!!
