Miggy lives to see another day. ❤️

Today, Dr. Alex performed an exploratory surgery after Miggy’s X-rays showed a concerning mass effect. During surgery, we found that the mass was coming from his spleen, so Dr. Alex performed a splenectomy and removed the affected spleen.

Miggy made it through surgery and is now waking up and being closely monitored by our team.

Dr. Alex is gearing up for exploratory surgery after discovering a softball-sized mass inside Miggy the dog and could use some positive thoughts.

Update: Dr. Alex found that the spleen is the source of the problem, so the surgery she will be performing is called a splenectomy, which means removal of the spleen.
