Good 😊 Monday Morning!

I am definitely 💯 looking forward to spring! We woke up to another 4 inches of snow ❄️ here in northern Utah!
I can not change Mother Nature 🌬️ but I can change my attitude. I can change how I feel just by tweaking a few things.

1- when I shift my motions or movement it switches my EMOTIONS!
Move, walk, run 🏃‍♀️ dance 💃

2- Feed your Body good 👍 Whole Foods. Try this week to EAT one ingredient foods. Nothing processed or out of a box. No sugar and see how much better you feel.

3- Fuel ⛽️ your body! Watch what you drink! Focus on water and electrolytes.
No liquid carbs or chemicals.

4- Smile 😊 smile just to smile 😊 practice wearing a smile 😃 and being grateful 😇
Both a smiling and being grateful are a gift 💝 that can be developed.

Heyyyy friends! We are SOOOO excited to do the first ever I-FAST prototype with you all!!!
I thought it would be helpful to talk a little bit about intermittent fasting and how this is going to work before we get started.
So, what is I.F.? Well, it is basically an eating pattern where you cycle between eating and FASTING. It doesn’t tell you WHAT to eat, or even how much - just WHEN to eat.
The typical and most common way, and what I have followed for years, is a 16/8 method. This means you are eating for 8 hours out of your day, and fasting for 16.
SO, you spend MORE time fasting then eating, which allows your body to tap into STORED FAT (hello love handles) and use it for FUEL! 🔥
In this particular I-fast program, we are focusing on a 6-8 hour eating period. You can choose what you feel is best for you & we will help guide you depending on what you choose.
Some of you may want to choose a SMALLER eating window - and that is absolutely okay too!
This program is customizable so if you have already been intermittent fasting and want to take things up a notch (break a plateau, get better results) you can try eating ONE MEAL A DAY (OMAD) along with the supplements in your kit.
In another post we will help you figure out your macros so you are properly fueling yourself with enough food and nutrients in your eating windows.
If you are completely NEW to fasting & are a little nervous about it, just know that our bodies are designed to fast.
In fact, humans have been fasting for YEARS. Think back to caveman days, when our ancestors had to HUNT for their food. They didn’t have refrigerators to store it and/or microwaves to warm it back up 😉
They would hunt, eat and then go another 3-4 days without food until they would hunt again! The human body is very well equipped to handle extended periods of time without eating!
I’m guessing a lot of you have been taught to eat EVERY 3-4 hours because it “speeds up your metabolism”, right? Yup. Me too.
Well, if you’re eating every 3-4 hours, you’re basically just burning through what you eat as your energy source.
I.e: You eat, you burn what you eat, you get hungry again (aka, your blood sugar drops, because you’re running on Glucose), you eat again, and it repeats forever. Sound familiar?
Here’s the problem with that. You’re NEVER allowing your body to find STORED FAT and use that for fuel, because you’re continuously ONLY burning what you eat! In other words, you are suppressing the fat “oxidation” process and will have a hard time EVER losing fat. You still with me?
The studies behind “fasting” and how beneficial it is for our health, brain and bodies, are truly remarkable.
One of the biggest changes I personally noticed when I started intermittent fasting was the constant feeling of HUNGER or spells of “HANGRY” literally WENT.AWAY. I’m not kidding!
This is because in the process of fasting, you train your body that you can find and USE fuel in other ways then just “waiting” for the next meal!
Also, a big reason that Intermittent Fasting is so effective, is because when you DO eat, you are eating meals that are satisfying! This will help keep you full for MUCH longer than what you’re probably used to.
Now, when you’re drinking Ketones & protones during your fast it’s literally like putting FUEL on the fire. Here’s why....
During a fast, your body depletes it’s glucose, looks for stored fat for fuel & starts producing its own KETONES. So when you’re drinking ketones AT THE SAME TIME your body is creating them, it raises the level of ketones in your blood which equals OPTIMIZED BENEFITS & RESULTS 🔥🔥🔥
Cool huh?
Remember, your body can handle most ANYTHING, it is our minds that we have to convince! 😉

Have You Ever said, where do I start? I would love to feel better do better but how do I begin?

Everything I have tried never works or I have tried that and it didn’t work! I don’t have time for me!
