The Mask as a Service Version 1.0 Mask Platform is complete. 100% additively manufactured and configured from a selfie to be custom to the user's face. We are complete, and will be opening the web site up for sales in two weeks after testing is over.

With this mask platform you can manufacture this mask, custom to the user, any time, anywhere. With no interaction with the mask supply chain. Providing complete independence from mask shortages.

Hats off to Ben Reytblat from the Mask as a Service team! He worked his ass off and cracked the code for a dynamically generated mask from a selfie. The dream is now real, time to change the world with it.

This is Dr. Kevin Pineda. buildPl8 worked with him to iterate over 8 different respirator designs to perfect and extend the Montana Mask. This man performed his daily work at Morristown Medical Center, all the while organizing the North Jersey Chapter of OSCMS (a group organizing distribution of PPE to all North Jersey medical facilities). He is responsible for saving the lives of literally hundreds of HCWs and at the same time saving the lives of his patients. He did this for 9 weeks straight and is still doing it.

It is absolutely amazing the reach someone can have when they dedicate their life to service and correcting wrongs in real time. Dr. Pineda is one of those people. He deserves your thanks.

This is an incredible movement of expired N95 material (expired only because of the elastic straps on the masks) from stocks at hospitals to the front lines of this pandemic.
