We are thrilled to celebrate Anna and all our wonderful WMH volunteers!

About a year ago, Anna was looking for a way to spend her free time and find a sense of accomplishment—and she found both through volunteering at Wright Memorial Hospital.

Whether she’s welcoming patients, helping visitors find their way, or chatting with guests in the gift shop, Anna brings warmth and kindness to everyone she meets.

“What I enjoy most is talking with people,” Anna said. “And everyone at the hospital is just so nice—it makes it easy to love being here.”

WMH Foundation announces Walking Trail Brick Fundraiser

Trenton, MO – The Wright Memorial Hospital Foundation has announced a Brick Campaign to complete the donor seating wall on the WMH Walking Trail.

Lindy Chapman, Wright Memorial Hospital Foundation Development Officer, shared that Foundation Board is excited to be able to offer a limited number of bricks to finish the seating area along the Walking Trail.

“This new seating space will be in the Virgil and Susanne Walden Seating Area along the WMH Walking Trail near the helipad. The area is almost complete,” according to Chapman. “We just need to sell 58 more bricks to finish the area’s donor seating wall.”

The bricks are $100 each and provide 3 lines of 20 characters/spaces on each line for personalization. “Wright Memorial is such an integral part of Trenton and the surrounding areas. We believe these are a wonderful way for friends and family to honor or remember a person important to them, or to celebrate a particular life event,” Chapman stated.

Once all of the remaining bricks are sold, they will be ordered, and the seating wall installation will be scheduled.

The Wright Memorial Hospital Auxiliary is hosting a Fall Bake Sale from 7 a.m. - noon on Thursday, November 9.

Funds generated from the bake sale will support the Auxiliary scholarships, which are awarded each year to students in the area who are pursuing a career in health care.

Stop by the hospital’s Education Room on November 9 to purchase some delicious baked goods while supporting a great cause.
