Reiki Master/ Teacher

My journey to Reiki began after my husband was diagnosed with cancer shortly after we were married. I am honored to share Reiki with all.

I had experienced Reiki treatments prior to then, but after the diagnosis the call was loud and clear to me. It was an honor for me to be able to do something for him that helped him so greatly during his journey. Reiki brought him such peace, such balance & such deep healing from many things. Reiki has been around for many years, is used in over 800 of the top hospitals in this country, 1000’s worldwide. Reiki originates from Japan and is taught hand to hand, Master to student. While the benefits and healing power of Reiki have been clear for generations, Clinical trials are ongoing at this time. Great results have been seen in patients during cancer treatment in side effects, toxin removal & anxiety. Cardiac patients, autoimmune disorders, stroke patients as well as surgical patients. Surgical patients have had noticibly less bleeding, need lower levels of anesthesia & have a quicker recovery time. In every day life, Reiki helps us to release stress and anxiety... and we all need that. Our bodies always want to right themselves, but in every day life they often become overburdened by stress and life events. Reiki is an incredibly healing experience. During a Reiki treatment a client remains fully clothed while laying on a comfortable massage table. Reiki is given with either light touch or with hands slightly above the body. Reiki is a higher vibrational energy which works to the cellular level of the body to release toxins, and brings us to a deep place of meditation and peace. Reiki is not a form of religion, it is not connected with any form of religion. It is a deeply spiritual experience as so many of my clients have expressed. My personal journey to Reiki in hindsight was always there waiting, I have always felt a call to help others. Reiki has transformed my life in many ways. Reiki is a gift for us all. Just posting a PSA for those wanting to book appointments here in my home studio.

If you have recieved the shot we will need to wait until you are one full month post injection before we can book your appointment. I have had to make this change to my schedule due to increasing reports of transmissions post injection. I have had this discussion with several clients and thought I should post this clearly.

It's been a long time coming, but the Reiki study conducted at Harvard by members of the Center for Reiki Research (Dr. Natalie Dyer, Dr. Ann Baldwin, and William Rand) in 2015 and 2016 has now been accepted for publication in the Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine! This is the largest prospective Reiki study to date and hopefully will lead to more research.

A total of 1411 Reiki sessions were conducted and included in the analysis. Statistically significant improvements were observed for all outcomes of psychological and physical health, including pain, drowsiness, tiredness, nausea, appetite, shortness of breath, anxiety, depression, mood, and overall wellbeing, with moderate to large effect sizes (all p values < 0.001).
The results from this large-scale multi-site effectiveness trial suggest that a single session of Reiki improves physical and psychological health.

Reiki truly helps clients dealing with PTSD. I have worked on many clients struggling with effects and with amazing results. I’m so thankful to be able to offer some much needed help!! Reiki helps to relax the body & mind, restoring healthy balance which helps the healing process.

I am now available to see clients on a limited basis at this time taking all the precautions during this time. My studio is private and also in my home where I live with 2 extremely compromised people. Masks are required, and I would ask that in making an appointment that you would be taking all precautions on your end before coming into this relaxing space.
