So, I did a thing.. 😅 I'm still not sure this has fully sank in yet. What an incredible opportunity to be able to showcase my art at the gallery at K-State! (EMAW!) If you are in the Manhattan area, be sure to stop in at the student union to see my art! My exhibit will run until Dec. 22nd!

The Stillness Between -

In the quiet spaces between darkness and light, loss and renewal, something sacred stirs. The Stillness Between is a meditation on transformation - the tender pause where beauty begins to rise from ashes, where grief gives way to grace, and where the unseen work of restoration takes place.

Each textured bloom and golden butterfly carries the whisper of rebirth - a reminder that even in silence, God is creating, healing, and making all things new. These works trace a journey from shadow into radiance, inviting the viewer to linger in the stillness - to breathe, to remember, and to know. ❤️

So, I've had this idea in my head since we visited Montana over the summer. Sidenote, I LOVE Montana. If I were ever to move out of Kansas, it'd be to Montana. Anyways, so, I've had this idea brewing in my head for awhile so I just needed to try it on a "simpler" painting first and get it out of my brain into real life. Next, I really want to try adding in more hills and then mountains. Hopefully you love all of the textures and colors as much as I do! 😍
