Donations needed for the Trimont Community Food Shelf! Consider donating any of the items that you have in excess that the food shelf is in need of.

Financial donations can be stretched further by local food shelves, so if you were planning to go and buy something on this list consider a monetary donation instead. Anything helps!

The Trimont Food Shelf has very urgent need for donations. Food or financial donations can be dropped at the Trimont Covenant or the Trimont Town Center. Over 25 families have been served in July and our supplies are running very low!

This is a monthly event, consider stopping by to talk about your experiences as a caregiver with others and learn how you can support one another!

Our support groups are open to the public. We meet every month, same time, same place. Come when you can. It is ok to be with others that are facing the same issues that you are. We learn from each other how to make each day a better day!

I’ve lived nearly my entire life not knowing that this wasn’t just a random patch of trees!

Darwin Anthony filled me in on the history of the Circle of Pine and Triumph-Monterey monument earlier this year.

We had the best seat in the house — The End of the parade! 🎉🚗

This summer, our hearse brought up the rear of the parades in Truman, Trimont, and Sherburn, closing out each celebration with a smile and a wave (and candy 🍬 & koozies 🥤!).

At Sinn Family Celebration of Life Center, we believe life should be honored with heart, laughter, and meaning — and sometimes a little humor too 😉. Thank you to our wonderful communities for letting us be part of the festivities! 🙏🎈

Thanks to our parade walkers who helped us hand out our koozies and candy! Thanks to Ean's mom and dad, Cara & Cory, Emily & Molly Klima, the Chase girls, Karla Geerdes and Mary Shade, and Kynlee! An additional thank you to Royce Murra, Ean's aunt Megan Mulder, and Gentry Chase for riding along, waving and tossing candy!

𝐅𝐀𝐈𝐑𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐓 - Larry Wayne Hagen, age 77, of Fairmont, MN, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at Mayo Hospital, St. Mary's Campus in Rochester, MN.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held for Larry at 2:00 PM Sunday, August 17, 2025, at the Sinn Family Celebration of Life Center - Trimont Chapel (111 Apple Street East, Trimont, MN 56176). The service will be recorded and available afterwards on Larry’s obituary page at www.sinnfuneralhome.com.

Visitation will take place from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM prior to Larry’s service at the funeral home. Following Larry’s services, he will be buried next to family at Long Lake Lutheran Church Cemetery in rural St. James.

The Sinn Family Celebration of Life Center of Trimont, Sherburn, and Welcome is assisting the family with arrangements.

Reminder for tonight in Trimont!

Location change! Next Sunday, July 27th @ 6:00 PM come join the fun and listen to the music of the Fett Brothers at the Sinn Family Celebration of Life Center in Trimont! It will be a hot and humid 91 degrees and our organizers and musicians decided that the air conditioning will feel much better!

Prior to the concert, we will be honoring the life of Marilyn Pierson with a public visitation from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM at the funeral home. Marilyn was a longtime member of TASK, the organization that created Sundaes in the Park, and served as treasurer through the 2025 concert season. She was an integral part of Sundaes in the Park and our community and will be dearly missed!

Come get some sweet corn tomorrow at our Trimont location! St. John's Lutheran Church-Sherburn, MN youth will be there at 8:30 AM in our parking lot selling sweet corn tomorrow support their activities!

12 bags remain for today at Sherburn Nursery & Floral! We will be back tomorrow at 8:30 am and also at Sinn Family Celebration of Life Center in Trimont at 8:30 am! Two locations tomorrow for your corn needs. $6 per dozen!

𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐓 - Marilyn W. (Curry) Pierson, age 80, of Sherburn, MN, and formerly of Trimont, MN, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, July 20, 2025, at Mayo Hospital, St. Mary's Campus in Rochester, MN.

A Celebration of Life service will be held for Marilyn at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 28, 2025, at the First Lutheran Church (61 Apple St E, Trimont, MN 56176) with Pastor Kelly France officiating. The service will be recorded and available afterwards on Marilyn’s obituary page.

Visitation will take place from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at the Sinn Family Celebration of Life Center – Trimont Chapel (111 Apple Street East, Trimont, MN 56176). That same Sunday evening at 6:00 PM, "Sundaes in the Park" will be held at the Sinn Family Celebration of Life Center, featuring the Fett Brothers performing-one of Marilyn’s favorite Trimont traditions. All are warmly invited to attend in her honor.

Visitation will also take place from 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM prior to the service at the church on Monday. Marilyn will be buried in the Butterfield City Cemetery, next to her husband Butch, who passed away on February 2, 2021.
