𝐌𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐀𝐊𝐄 - Tim "TK" Kirk, age 57, of Mountain Lake, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at his home after a courageous battle with gallbladder cancer.

A Celebration of Life service will be held for Tim at 4:00 PM on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at the Mountain Lake High School (450 12th St N, Mountain Lake, MN 56159) with Pastor Mike Emmert officiating. The service will be livestreamed and also available afterwards on Tim's obituary page.

There will be no visitation prior to the service. Please plan to arrive before 4:00 PM so the service may begin on time. Following the service, there will be a reception at the Windom Community Center (1750 Cottonwood Lake Dr.
Windom, MN 56101).

To honor TK, guests are encouraged to wear attire supporting his favorite teams - the Wolverines, Lakers, Twins, or Vikings - or a “TK Weather the Storm” shirt.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the family. These gifts will be used to place a memorial bench in TK’s honor at Munson Field in Mountain Lake.

The Celebration of Life Service for Allene will still be taking place today, at 10:30 AM at the Sinn Family Celebration of Life Center in Trimont. Viewing will also take place one hour prior to the service. Take your time on the roads, visibility may be lower depending on where you are coming from.

If you are unable to attend, the service will be available on Allene's obituary page, beneath the obituary text. You may also view her memorial slideshow anytime you like (examples of both are pictured below).

*In the event of technical errors, the service will be recorded and uploaded after the fact as well. If your livestream isn't functioning, whether it is on your end or ours, you will have the chance to view it anytime after the service is over.

𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐑𝐄𝐕𝐈𝐄𝐖- James “Jim” Lowell Mansager, age 79, of Shoreview, Minnesota, and formerly of Trimont, MN, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, January 9, 2026.

A gathering of family and friends for a visitation will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home (7050 Lake Drive, Lino Lakes, Minnesota). A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 31st, in Trimont, Minnesota, at 11:00 AM at First Lutheran Church (61 Apple Street East, Trimont, MN 56176), with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Jim will be laid to rest at Elm Creek Cemetery in rural Trimont.

𝐓𝐑𝐔𝐌𝐀𝐍 - Bruce Robert Whitman, age 68, of Truman, MN, and formerly of East Chain, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at his home.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held for Bruce at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at the Sinn Family Celebration of Life Center – Trimont (111 Apple Street E, Trimont, MN 56176), with Ean Sinn serving as funeral celebrant. A recording of the service will be available at Bruce’s obituary page at www.sinnfuneralhome.com.

Visitation will take place from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home on Wednesday. Bruce will be laid to rest in the spring at Oakwood Cemetery in East Chain, MN. A Celebration of Life service will be held for Allene at 10:30 AM on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at the Sinn Family Celebration of Life Center - Trimont/ Trimont United Methodist Church (111 Apple Street East, Trimont, MN 56176) with Pastor Rachel Morrison officiating. The service will be recorded and available afterwards on Allene's obituary page.

Visitation will take place from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Friday, January 16, 2026, at the Sinn Family Celebration of Life Center – Trimont / Trimont United Methodist Church (111 Apple Street East, Trimont, MN 56176). Visitation will also take place one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday. Allene will be laid to rest next to her husband at Cedar Hill Cemetery in rural Trimont.

𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐓 - David Otto Krumwiede, age 63, passed away on Tuesday morning, January 6, 2026, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He celebrated his birthday just one day earlier.

A Celebration of Life service will be held for David at a later date.

Look at all this food! There’s nothing better than a full room, good laughs, and neighbors helping neighbors.

Our second annual Ham BINGO on December 4th was a huge success - hosted by our business, the Trimont Fire Department, and the Martin County West Community Foundation, all in support of the Trimont Community Food Shelf.

Thanks to this incredible community, we raised $2,237.24 between this event and our Glenn Henriksen Concert, in addition to the food collected.

We’re grateful to the Trimont Town Center for the hams, Lori at Pizza Ranch in Fairmont for the delicious pizzas, and Bo at the Knight’s Lounge in Ormsby for serving drinks throughout the entire night. A special thank you to Moore & Ace Hardware, Melson’s Mobile Welding & Repair LLC, Sherburn Nursery & Floral, Rustic Hill Creations, and New Fashion Pork for donating prizes and gift cards.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support a great cause and enjoy a fun night together. We can’t wait to do it again next year!

𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐓 - Gregory D. “Greg” Geerdes, age 64, of Trimont, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at his home in Trimont after a courageous battle against stomach cancer.

A Celebration of Life service will be held for Greg at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at the Sinn Family Celebration of Life Center - Trimont (111 Apple Street East, Trimont, MN 56176) with Pastor Jeff Hagen officiating. The service will be recorded and available afterwards on Greg’s obituary page.

Visitation will take place from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Friday, January 9, 2026, at the Sinn Family Celebration of Life Center – Trimont (111 Apple Street East, Trimont, MN 56176). Visitation will also take place from 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday. Greg will be laid to rest at Elm Creek Cemetery, in rural Trimont.
