SUNDAY'S GUIDANCE:
LEFT - PAGE / WANDS - We begin today with Tarot's card of the young adventurer. Today may be a day of rest for us and it is also the day to plan the next big adventure! We need to go back to the time when we were excited about all the options in front of us. We saw synchronicities everywhere. Rest is important and while resting let's use our minds and hearts to return to that ever-flowing spring of enthusiasm and energy!
CENTER - TEMPERANCE - Here we have Tarot's card of balance. This may seem to be counter to the calling of our first card. Yet all things - even enthusiasm - must be held in a gentle balance with all the other demands of daily life. Remember - the choice of the Middle Way! The way of balance!
RIGHT THE EMPEROR - The number 4 in the Tarot is the number of stability and structure. And this fellow is the embodiment of those traits!
He rules the empire with a eye to stability. He wants all that he cares for to remain stabile and secure. He believes strongly in the fundamental structure of a secure environment. Tarot asks us today to look carefully at how we rule our personal " empire". Do we plan for unexpected interpretations in the flow of our resources - money, time, energy? If not today might be the day to develop a plan B, so we are preparred! This will afford us much peace of mind.

Saturday's Guidance:
LEFT - KNIGHT/ WANDS - We being today with a heroic figure. This KNIGHT is the personification of the romantic man chasing his passion. He is noble and trustworthy. Tarot urges us today to identify our passions. What are the activities that get our juices flowing? Let us pursue those, not with the goal to be better than someone else, but with the drive to make this world a better and more beautiful place for all.
CENTER - 8/ CUPS - Here we see a figure who is moving up and away from his CUPS all filled to the top. This figure has decided, as good as all those CUPS might be, it is time to move on. Note the movement is upward toward the light. Tarot asks us today to make our path one of spiritual progression. It will mean leaving something or someone behind - difficult but necessary!
RIGHT - 5/ SWORDS - This is a card of strategy, most likely ruthless strategy. You may be called on today to make some difficult choices. These choices may vanquish another. It is important to look at our motivation for these choices. SWORDS are the suit of clarity. It is important for us and our opponent(s) today to be sure that we are clear on the motivation for the actions we must take. Pause before striking out!

Friday's Guidance:
LEFT - 8/ SWORDS - Here we see a woman who seems to be restrained. She is blindfolded with wire surrounding her arms, standing within a circle of SWORDS. Tarot asks if we are feeling restrained today. Is there something that seems to be holding us back? Look at this figure carefully. There is nothing here that is actually binding her. If she wants, she can easily walk out of this situation to freedom.
Are we letting negative thoughts hold us back? Do we let perceived injustices keep us from acting? Do we worry too much about what might happen IF . . . Today is the day to let all of that go. Tarot urges us to focus on the here and now and walk out of our mental shackles!
CENTER - ACE/ SWORDS - And here we have the gift that will help us " cut through" our negative thinking. Tarot asks us today to look carefully at what is really in our situation today. Use our intellect to assess what is actually there - no future tripping allowed today! We will be surprised to see how tenderly we are being cared for and that care is an eternal fixture in our lives.
KNIGHT/ COINS - Here we see how to go through this day. We need to accomplish only what is in front of us - do it well and completely and then move on to the next thing that we need to handle. That is the message from this KNIGHT. He is not flashy or romantic but he always accomplishes his tasks. Tarot asks us today to model this steadfast member of the Court who does not worry about tomorrow or regret yesterday. He does today's work today.

THURSDAY'S GUIDANCE-
LEFT - KING / SWORDS We begin today with the Master of the suit of clarity and decision making. This King rules with an informed mind and rules with a fair hand even in unpopular situations. Tarot asks us to approach our decision making today with a dispassionate stance. We need to look at both sides of any question before we make a decision - and that decision then must be fair to all concerned. This is a tricky path calling for patience and thoughtful balance.
CENTER - - THE SUN - Here we have Tarot's card of vitality. We see this happy healthy baby joyfully riding a horse. He is having so much fun. Tarot urges us today to look on our day with a sunny disposition. We will enjoy the day and so will all who fall under our positive glow.
RIGHT - 5/ WANDS - And just when we thought all will go smoothly, here comes a card of conflict. The number 5 in the Tarot is the number of conflict and unease. Here we see a group gathered in what seems to be a skirmish outside the walls of the city. They seem to be fighting over something that they don't want the towns people to see. As we go through our day today let us see where we can bring the positive energy of card 2 and the clear thinking of card 1 to influence the difficulties we will face today.

WEDNESDAY'S GUIDANCE:
LEFT - TEMPERANCE - The TEMPERANCE card is a card of balance and moderation. This should be our guiding thought for today. All of life moves along in an easier fashion when we avoid extremes - even if they are fun activities. The Buddha urged
"the middle way" in all we do. Tarot urges the same with this card. Notice how our angel pours water gently from one cup to another so that the waters of life stay flowing. Today is a day to avoid extremes!
CENTER - And here is the gift of maintaing balance today. Our beautiful red-haired angel gifts us with passion and creativity. Find the time in your balanced day today to plan or start that creative project. Tarot assures us that ideas will flow and the heat of our passion for this project will carry the day.
RIGHT - 4/SWORDS - And after our excursion into our creative heart, we will need to rest. Using our creative nature takes a lot of our "juice". So a break is necessary to fill up the reservoir again. Tomorrow is another day - we must save tomorrow's energy for tomorrow.
