This week we are celebrating 1 year since our Grand Opening!🎉

What a year it has been! We can not extend enough gratitude to the local community of Trinity and to the residents in Trinity County for their continued support of our hospital and clinical services. As a citizen, there is no better feeling than knowing you have LOCAL healthcare available for you and your family when the time is needed.

When it comes to patient care, our nursing team at Mid Coast Health System strives to offer the best! This includes continued education throughout all of our facilities. 👩‍⚕️

Roxann Langston (DON for MCMC - Trinity & Crockett) and Helen Dice (ED Director for MCMC-Crockett) took the lead to make sure our nursing staff at all facilities have TNCC certification.

Every second counts when stabilizing life-threatening trauma cases. TNCC , prepares our nursing staff with knowledge, critical thinking skills and training needed to provide high-quality trauma nursing care.

Thank you to these two great team members for their continued devotion to our patients and to our staff!

Due to the Cold Weather Advisory and Winter Storm Warning for potential snow and ice, Mid Coast Medical Clinic - Trinity will be closed on Tuesday, January 21st.

Please take precaution for this upcoming storm to arrive starting 6:00pm this evening through 6pm Tuesday, January 21st. Plan for slippery road conditions. Sub-freezing temperatures to keep road conditions hazardous through midday Wednesday, January 22nd in areas of heavy bands of snow occur.

Stay safe and warm! In case of an emergency, please remember we offer 24/7 Emergency Services available through the ER.

This past week MidCoast Medical Center - Crockett & Mid Coast Medical Center - Trinity Administrator, Joshua Abell, met with United States Congressman Pete Sessions and John Henderson, CEO of TORCH. Mr. Abell was able to discuss the challenges MCHS and other rural hospitals are facing today.

We would like to thank Congressman Pete Sessions for taking the time to visit our facility in Crockett. Additionally, we would like to thank John Henderson for his continued assistance for rural hospitals and for also taking the time to join us. MCHS looks forward to working with these two great leaders to help rural hospitals stay open by powering through the struggles they are facing today.
