Case Review: 21-Year-Old Female Patient

Clinical examination revealed a horizontal and vertical ridge deficiency in the #7– #10 region. To address the defect, autogenous bone was harvested from the mandibular arch and combined with a xenograft and Oragen to create the graft composite. The graft mixture was then hydrated with L-PRF exudate to enhance handling properties and biologic activity prior to placement at the recipient site.

A titanium mesh was contoured and adapted to the defect, then stabilized using 5 mm Profix fixation screws to ensure space maintenance and graft containment. Following secure fixation, a 30 x 40 mm MemLok membrane was trimmed and positioned over the mesh. The membrane was stabilized using Glycolon sutures in a crisscross horizontal mattress configuration to achieve tension-free primary closure and optimal protection of the grafted site.
