CAN Do Kids CAN Do Kids Our goal is to assist your child in reaching their full potential in school, social play, and at home.

We offer occupational therapy and speech therapy. We address sensory needs, motor planning, eye hand coordination, visual skills and hand writing difficulties, and speech struggles. At CAN Do Kids we draw upon a number of therapeutic methods to develop a treatment plan that is carefully tailored to your child's needs.

Meet the owner, Scott!

What is the story behind your love for sports cards?

“My passion for sports cards began in the early 1980s. Inspired by my older brother, who collected a wide variety of cards, I quickly became immersed in the hobby. We would often gather spare change and head to the local drugstore to purchase new packs, later trading cards with friends—many of whom remain close to us to this day.”

Why did you want to start a sports card business and who/what pushed you?

“I was ready to try something new, and opening a card shop felt like the perfect way to combine my passion for the hobby with a desire to create a space for the West Richland community. Baseline Sports Cards was born out of a vision to offer a welcoming place where people can sit down, open packs, share stories, and connect with others who share the same interests. The unwavering support from my wife, kids, and close family friends played a huge role in making this dream a reality.”

What are your hopes for Baseline Sports Cards?

“My goal is to create a space where people can connect, share their passions, and embrace the joy of the hobby. I hope to inspire adults to rediscover their inner child, while allowing kids to fully enjoy their time here. I’m excited to see our community come together and gain their support as we grow.”

What would be your best piece of advice for somebody who wants to learn more about the hobby of collecting cards?

“My advice is to start by doing your research and discovering what truly excites you—whether it’s a favorite player, sport, or team. Don’t hesitate to ask questions along the way, and always remember that this is a hobby, not a chore. Enjoy the process and have fun with it!”

Building Blocks to a Future

Our goal is to help families with their children who are struggling with areas that are impacting development and independent functioning. Many areas we are addressing include Fine Motor Delays, Gross Motor Delays, Technology/Media Addiction, Aggressive Behaviors, Sensory Integration/Sensory Processing, Poor Attention, Neurological Disorders, ADHD/ADD, and General Developmental Delays. We recently attended the Family Expo 2020 where many of the parents expressed concern for their child’s struggles with Aggressive Behaviors and ADHD (inability to focus) impacting social skills and learning in the classroom.
