Happy Wednesday Kidology friends! Washing our hands is one of the easiest ways to help keep ourselves and others healthy! As summer fun begins with playgrounds, camps, parks, and vacations, it’s extra important to keep those little hands clean. A good hand wash should last about 20 seconds!

Remember to wash hands:

🫧 After playing outside
🫧 After coughing or sneezing
🫧 After touching shared toys or playground equipment

Happy Friday Kidology friends! It’s National Don’t Fry Day, what a funny name for something so important! Sunscreen helps protect you and your kiddos from harmful UV rays and painful sunburns while enjoying all the fun summer activities ahead. Don’t forget to reapply sunscreen throughout the day, wear hats and sunglasses, and stay hydrated in the warm weather! Dr. Mac recommends using sun protective clothing and hats as much as possible, then applying sunscreen to areas that can’t be covered like the face and hands. It’s always a good idea to test a small amount of sunscreen on your child’s skin first to make sure they don’t have a reaction before applying it everywhere. The most important thing is choosing a sunscreen with strong SPF protection that works well for your kiddo’s skin!
