Many wounds that open are because of bacteria and tension

That first day or so that an incision opened is a time I would suggest using an antiseptic to try and kill any bacteria and then call your doc asap

Wound emergencies are as follows

🔊The whole incision opens
🔊Signs of Sepsis like feeling lethargic and generally being unwell
🔊Copious drainage and odor
🔊Lots of Pain despite meds
