When we focus on what we cannot control, it can make us feel stuck, and the more we focus on things outside of our control, the more likely we are to feel anxiety, anger, and frustration. No matter how angry we get, we cannot change things outside our circle of control. However, when we focus on things we can control, it improves our mood, and makes us feel confident and empowered! We tend to try to control things to bring about a feeling of peace, but actually - focusing on our power to control the things we can, can foster peace and comfort!
