🌱 Consistency is key when it comes to making healthier choices! Start small and build from there. 🍏🥕 Try swapping out 1 snack per day with a fruit or vegetable. Once you've mastered that for 7 days, add on another change like including 1 vegetable with dinner. 🥦🍽️ Remember, simple and familiar changes make it easier to stick to your goals. Like this article says… 👉”A healthful diet is more likely to protect against cancer than dietary supplements, because eating whole foods allows the body to absorb a whole range of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that work together to protect health”.

🚫Not all supplements are created equally, and some may not even contain the ingredients that are listed on the label 😲

😁 the good news is that supplements may be beneficial when utilized appropriately and after consulting with your health care provider & dietitian👩‍⚕️👏👨‍⚕️

A cancer diagnosis is scary for patients, often leading them to take additional nutrients, herbs, or botanicals. But RDs must know these remedies can cause adverse effects when combined with prescribed treatments.
